About the Author
I will include a little bit about myself, just because I can. My biggest interests are family, physics, photography and the Green Bay Packers.
Clearly my physics interest ties into the origins of this simulation. My Ph.D. in Physics never really satisfied my thirst for understanding (As Physicists go I am not the brightest bulb and if the subject of my degree comes up I will tell people I am likely the dumbest physicist they will ever encounter). However, I left the Physics world behind many years ago (I made a living slumming in the telecommunications industry for a long time but I am now retired) but Physics is my first love and that love never abated. I have also said many times, "You can take the boy out of Physics but you can't take the Physics out of the boy." This simulation allows me a creative outlet and a way to continue thinking about Physics topics.
Since I was fourteen, I have photographed moments of my life and have nearly every frame I have shot online for viewing. That said, much of my photography are crap snapshots; there is no art in my photography at all and when I do try to be artistic, it comes off as more autistic. That doesn't stop me trying anyway. My Flickr site provides access to my photographic archives.
My favorite all time images can be found in this collection.
Finally, my biggest guilty pleasure is the NFL's most unique football team, the Green Bay Packers. I have been fan for as long as I can remember as my father brainwashed the family to be fans. I was even able to attend games in Milwaukee County Stadium during the Lombardi era. My favorite memory in County Stadium was in 1967 against Cleveland, when Packer's rookie Travis Williams returned two kickoffs for touchdowns. Since 1997, I have been a shareholder of the team and since 2003, a season ticket holder. If you should ever wish to attend a game at beautiful Lambeau field, I sell my unused tickets to family and friends. Contact me via email at [email protected] if you are interested. I have a set of my favorite photos from attending games and training camps.
